Since finding out that the verdict is in, my mind has been on nothing else. I was in a training in SF and could not focus on the workshop. My face tightened and all I wanted to do is make sure everyone I care about was safe at home. I worried about how my young people were doing, that they were all around folks that love them, home, or someplace they could express their emotions. I prayed for their safety. Anna rushed back to Oakland to take our youth leaders home. Luke and Rob were running summer programming, we made phone calls checking in. We asked all of them to stay away from downtown. I'm here in my living room, alone. Twitter is going wild. On Facebook everyone is on edge.There are a lot of emotions surrounding this.
