Today I got a text message from an old friend. Someone I haven't spoken to, in a really long time. A year ago, this is the same friend who stayed on the other line, while I fell a part. "Perfect timing" I thought. We've been connected since I was 21. No matter how much time passes, we always, always, always seem to intersect when one of us, both of us are going through it. We communicated via text message, making plans to hang out. Walk. Talk. Catch up. The short conversation ends this way...
